EXTINGUISHER TRAINING COURSE

DK Fire Safety Services will visit your workplace to train staff in the use of a portable fire extinguisher in a controlled fire situation.  This course will cover basic fire safety and the safe and correct use of a fire extinguisher.  Each participant will have the opportunity to extinguish a fire in a safe and controlled environment.

Duration of the course is 2 hours and we offer training for single staff to a maximum group size of 15.

  • Identifying different fire classes and the fire triangle theory
  • Types of fire extinguisher 
  • Safety procedures when fighting a live fire
  • Tactics to use to ensure safety

  • Practical session in controlled live fire situation.
